You can now watch the recording of this event by clicking here

Dr. Juliet Davis, a former architect, is a Reader in Architecture and Urbanism at the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University. Her PhD Urbanising the Event focussed on the making of London’s 2012 Olympics’ so-called regeneration legacy as an urban future through planning and design in the years between 2005 and 2011, and she continues to research the regeneration legacy for the area and its residents over the years since the 2012 Games.

Juliet’s new monograph, Care and the City, sets out to consider how urban design and transformation might be thought of in terms of care practices and ethics.

Register for the event here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing information about joining the meeting.

Following this, we will be talking with Professor Danny Dorling on Thursday 13 October at 6.00pm about his new book Finntopia.
