HOPE not hate: Building hopeful towns

LHG’s In Conversation With …. session on Tuesday May 11th at 6.30pm

HOPE not hate Charitable Trust uses research, education and public engagement to challenge mistrust and racism, and helps to build communities that are inclusive, celebrate shared identities and are resilient to hate. Chris Clarke and Rosie Carter, from the policy team at HOPE not hate, will be talking about how to build resilience in cities and towns across the UK.

Chris is a policy researcher at HOPE not hate Charitable Trust. He has previously been involved in a number of community and research projects, and has worked with local government and in the third sector – across themes relating to migration, cohesion, local engagement, place identity and social values.

Rosie is senior policy officer at HOPE not hate Charitable Trust. She conducts research on community relations, public attitudes, identity and political polarisation.
