LHG’s Policy Day is to be held in Liverpool on October 12th. Keynote speakers:
Joe Anderson (Mayor of Liverpool),
Lord Roy Kennedy of Southwark (Shadow Housing Spokesperson)
Paul Dennett (Elected Mayor for Salford)
Peter Dowd MP (Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury)
Steve Rotheram (Metro Mayor for the Liverpool City Region)
Other speakers from a range of Northern local authorities, housing providers and universities.

The event also marks the launch of the Labour Housing Group North West Branch.

The programme includes sessions on building new council homes, Labour’s emerging land and planning policies, defining affordability, the Green New Deal, forward-looking housing finance, and regulating the private rented sector.
