In Conversation With…Gill Leng: Homes for Health and Wealth
Our home is the foundation for good health, and wealth: how do Labour’s missions for a Better Britain recognise this, or is more action is needed?
(Registration link below)
Gill will be challenging our ideas about the extent to which housing and health are inextricably linked, and posing the question to Labour about what more needs to be done to improve health and wealth though good housing.
Gill is committed to enabling everyone to have a home in which to ‘start, live and age well’ in, and has sought to do this over last 25 years, working nationally, regionally and locally on housing and homelessness, health and care policy and practice.
Currently freelance, Gill has held national adviser positions in Public Health England, DLUHC and NHS England since 2014, including throughout the pandemic. She is a Trustee of the Nationwide Foundation.
