What should be in the Labour Government’s NPPF?

17 September 2024, 6pm – online event.

This summer, the government is consulting on the content of a potential revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). This crucial document sets out planning policy for all of England, including environmental and social planning, and sets the direction of planning for local planning authorities across England.

But what should the NPPF contain? What language should be changed from the previous government’s document? How can positive changes to the NPPF help a Labour Government fulfil their housing goals? And what changes do those implementing housing on the ground want to see?The event will be help online via Zoom.

The event is free for Labour Housing Group members, and will cost £10 for non-members. I you are not currently an LHG member, join today for £25 (£5 unwaged)!
