Meet our new Executive Committee Members!

Following a members’ vote held in February and March, we are delighted to welcome three new members to the Labour Housing Group Executive Committee! Meet them below:

Jay Morton (Policy Officer)

Jay is an architect and director at Bell Phillips Architects, specialising in housing, regeneration and placemaking. She is host of theArchitects for Change podcast and a member of Architects’ Action for Affordable Housing Campaign.

She is a former Labour parliamentary candidate and has a particular interest in housing delivery, planning reform, and creating well-designed, community-focused places.

Rose Grayston (Red Brick Editor)

Rose is a housing policy specialist and campaigner who served as Expert Adviser to Matthew Pennycook, Minister for Housing and Planning from 2024 to 2025. She co-authored the London Borough of Southwark’s Securing the Future of Council Housing report and has previously held roles at Shelter, the New Economics Foundation and Generation Rent.

Tom Wilson (Branches Officer)

Tom was Labour’s Parliamentary candidate against Rishi Sunak in 2024. He is on PricedOutUK’s advisory board and is Secretary of the Labour YIMBY campaign.

He has a particular interest in regional inequality, military housing, New Towns, and planning.
