Fiona Fletcher-Smith is the Group Chief Executive at L&Q, a housing association catering for around 250,000 people in 105,000 homes. Before joining L&Q, Fiona was Executive Director for Development, Enterprise, and Environment at the Greater London Authority, responsible for overseeing the delivery of key strategies such as the London Plan. She has also worked in several voluntary and public roles for local authorities, touching on homelessness, regeneration, and policy development.
John Cotton is the former leader of Birmingham City Council – the largest local authority in Europe – and a former chair of Labour Housing Group. Across over 25 years in civil leadership as a Councillor, Cabinet Member, and Leader, John helped to bring huge levels of inward investment into the Birmingham City Region, to advance the devolution agenda, and to tackle homelessness and poverty. John now works as a strategic adviser focusing on devolution and social justice.
